One problematic aspect of being a church, of being a community, that defines homosexual behaviour as sin, is how to deal with new, impressionable, vulnerable members.
The thing is, many new members will have joined the church community to get support. But when they joined did they know that their sexual choices, especially their homosexual behaviour, would be deemed wrong? It seems particularly cruel that a community would use it’s friendship, it’s community support, even it’s emotional support, to convince members to turn away from homosexual behaviour.
We live in an age now, where we know that homosexual behaviour is not a problem. But new members might discover that the church sees it as a sin.
It probably occurs in many cases as a bait and switch. The new found friends and support and community love comes at a the price of condemnation.

I have an informal connection to the Alliance Church— not a formal one, but I must say that while one might congratulate you for being quick to capture a logical domain name, the reality that you’re being little more than a rage-monster on these pages doesn’t seem particularly inspiring.
T’is a free country, though, and I share a commitment to uphold freedom of speech in the public square. But it is difficult for me to accept your thesis of hatred as regards this denomination’s (Biblically-based) concern over homosexual praxis, all while witnessed a webmaster clearly consumed with a hatred far more viscerally based than anything I have experienced inside these (supposedly) “hateful” ranks of the Alliance Church.
Ironically, the very website you peddle is evidence more of your problem than of theirs. It is evidence of thoroughly reactionary behaviour— like watching Ferris Bueller’s sister rage about her community-beloved brother. What was it that Charlie Sheen’s character said to her, ultimately?
